I am not quite sure who I am or how I got here (philosophically). But I have a sense that the future will be beautiful.

I like this Roger Ebert quote: “To make others less happy is a crime. To make ourselves unhappy is where all crime starts. We must try to contribute joy to the world. That is true no matter what our problems, our health, our circumstances. We must try. I didn't always know this and am happy I lived long enough to find it out.”

Also, this Somni-451 quote from Cloud Atlas, which I think about a lot while walking around: “Our lives are not our own; from womb to tomb, we are bound to others, past and present, and by each crime and every kindness we birth our future.”
